SITA BUS

We advise you to print the SITA schedule presented in the following table and keep it safe with all the other documents you’ll be bringing on holiday with you to the Amalfitana coast.
You’ll definitely need this information every time you decide to depart from our parking lot to go on an outing to Amalfi (7 Km), Positano  (7 Km), Ravello (13 Km.), Sorrento (20Km.) or to other centres of attraction on the Sorrentina-Amalfitana coast.
While staying comfortably seated and relaxed you will be able to admire the rugged coastline with its sheer precipices plunging into the sea and floods of curves, each with a breathtaking panorama of its own that varies with the bends in the road.
So… enjoy these beautiful moments even before your vacation has begun, because our curvaceous main road (A163) as beautiful as it is, isn’t easy to drive on.

Tickets are not bought aboard the buses but can be obtained on any premises that displays the sign reproduced here. Caution: keep your ticket safe, as a fine of 60,00 Euro is levied on passengers not in possession of a valid ticket.

Sita BusThe SITA service offers air-conditioned buses driven by tried and tested drivers as a great alternative to cars and connects the various centres all day long.
Using the SITA buses is a really novel and enjoyable experience which is certainly different to that offered by a normal city bus service.
In Sorrento, bus station with timetables are outside the railway station and in the central piazza.

Towns along the Amalfi Coast and on the Sorrentine peninsula are also served by Campania's extensive regional bus network, which includes municipal buses along with intercity service provided by two main companies: ACTP (PHONE: 081/7001111) usually handles medium- and long-distance routes out of Naples, and SITA (Via Pisanelli 3, just south of Piazza Municipio, PHONE: 081/5522176 or 081/5934644 or PHONE: 081/5522176 or 081/5934644) serves the Amalfi Coast, connecting Sorrento with Salerno. SITA Blue Line buses make the trip along the coast 22 times daily between 6:30 AM and 10 PM (festival, Sunday, and bank holiday schedules vary from weekday schedule). Wallet-size SITA schedules are available at ticket vendors, regional tourist offices, and from hotel concierges, or contact SITA in Salerno (Via Irno 2-4, PHONE: 089/791660). Schedules are also posted at the Sorrento train station and at the SITA bus office at Bar Sita, Piazza Flavio Gioia in Amalfi.
